Basil Hayden’s Bourbon is a bourbon with a uniquely high-rye mashbill, combining the sweetness of corn with the spicy undertones of rye. The purists may have been displeased, but not the neighbors who tried it. This Bourbon bridges the flavor of rye whiskies and small batch bourbons together. Enriched by a hint of peppermint, it is balanced with notes of pepper and rounded off with slight citrus overtones and a spicy, warming finish.
