In 1773, three brave McAfee Brothers ventured west from Virginia, staking out the unclaimed land that would soon be recognized as Kentucky. This same area would become home to the world-renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery. Benchmark Bourbon No 8 1.75l pays tribute to the risk-takers by honoring the surveyor marks they left behind.
